TRUTH: There is one and only one true God. His holiness is glorious and
inexpressible. He is worthy of all possible honor, love, and trust. In the unity
of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
This truth empowers every believer to live their lives to the glory of God.
THERE IS ONE GOD
He is infinite. Psa 90:2
He is omniscient. Psa 147:5
He is a Spirit. John 4:24
His name is Jehovah or Yahweh. Psa 83:18.
He is maker and Supreme Ruler of Heaven and earth. Heb 3:4
THERE IS ONE HOLY GOD
He is Holy. Transcendent – Exod. 15:11
He is creator. Isa 6:3; Rev 4:8
Holiness is the preeminent attribute of God
THERE IS ONE GOD WORTHY OF ALL PRAISE
He is worthy of honor. Rev 4:11
He is worthy of our love and trust. Mark 12:30
THERE IS ONE GOD UNITED IN THE TRINITY
All three persons are God. Matt 28:19. John 15:26
All three persons are equal in every divine perfection. John 10:30. John
17:5; 1 Cor 2:10
All three persons are executing distinct, harmonious offices in the work of
redemption. Eph 2:18; 2 Cor 13:14
CONCLUSION: There is only one God. There is only one Holy God. God is worthy
