2 Tim 3:14-17

TRUTH: The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction. It has God for its author and salvation for its end. It is truth without any mixture of error for its content. It reveals the principles by which God will judge us. It shall remain the true center of Christian union, and it is the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creed (belief), and opinion should be tried. The Holy Bible is true!
THE HOLY BIBLE …

1. DIVINELY INSPIRED –HEAVENLY INSTRUCTION
   1. God by His Spirit gave man the Scriptures. 2 Tim 3:16
   2. God by His Spirit gave heavenly instruction. 2 Sam 23:2, 2 Tim 3:16,17, 2 Peter 1:21
2. GOD AS ITS AUTHOR - SALVATION AS ITS END
   1. Scripture makes us wise about salvation. Vs.15
   2. Scriptures testify of Jesus. John 5:39. Heb 12:2
3. TRUTH WITHOUT ANY MIXTURE OF ERROR
   1. God’s Word is pure. Proverbs 30:5
   2. God’s Word sanctifies His people. John 17:17
   3. God’s Word is profitable. Vs. 16
4. TELLS US HOW GOD WILL JUDGE US
   1. God’s Word tells us what to do with Jesus. John 12:47-48
   2. God’s Word tells us God’s Law condemns us. James 2:10
5. THE TRUE CENTER OF CHRISTIAN UNION
   1. Scriptures unite God’s people. Phil 3:16
   2. Scripture will stand forever. 1 Peter 1:23
6. THE SUPREME STANDARD BY WHICH ALL HUMAN CONDUCT, CREED, AND OPINION WILL BE TRIED
   1. God’s Word judges our actions. 1 John 4:1
   2. God’s Word judges your belief. 1 Thess 5:21
   3. God’s Word judges your opinion.
