A WORD FROM THE PASTOR 

Every person needs a church home. A place to worship God, study God’s Word, fellowship with other Christians, and a place to invite our loved ones and friends to hear God’s Word. God wants everyone to be saved. One of the purposes of the church is to encourage people to repent of their sins and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. After they are saved they need to grow spiritually in the Lord. You can only grow so much on your own. Scripture tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together.
Going to church is vital to your Christian walk.

Here at McFerrin we strive to accomplish all that Christ has commanded His church to do.

1. We worship God in spirit and in truth.
2. We study to show ourselves approved by God.
3. We fellowship with each other through special meals and by reaching out to
   each other in times of joy and trouble.
4. We encourage the unsaved to trust Christ for salvation.
5. We encourage those that have been saved to follow the Lord starting with baptism.
6. We encourage each member of our church to learn what their spiritual gift is
   and use it to the glory of God and the benefit of the church.

Yes, we do all these things and much more here at McFerrin. Our purpose is to glorify Christ and reach out to you. We would love to have you come and visit us for any or all of our services. We will do our best to make you feel loved and try to make your worship experience a fruitful one.

Our future is bright.  We will be starting Phase I of our new building expansion in the
very near future. We have four phases planned. Please come and see the wonderful
things that God is doing at our church. We look forward to seeing you soon.
