Sunday Morning Worship
God’s Word is vital to the growth of His children, manna for the soul and spiritual nourishment for the strengthening of the spirit. Every service is devoted to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and God’s Word is preached with power and truth. God’s Holy Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit, serves to convict the lost, give strength to His children, as well as hope and encouragement to those who are in need.  (Nursery available during morning worship.)

Sunday School
McFerrin places great emphasis on the biblical education of its body as a whole. Consistently in keeping with God’s Word, education and the importance of wisdom is emphasized throughout our congregation. It is imperative, especially during this time of extreme sinfulness, that the Holy Word is studied in depth so future generations may be well-equipped with the truth. Classes available for all ages from nursery age to seniors

Bible Study
We all have many different needs, but none is greater than the need to have a deeper revelation of the character of God. His true, intrinsic beauty is revealed only to those who take time to have a close-up, concentrated focus on the study of God, the Being, the great “I AM”” the One who spoke the world into existence, the One who gently breathed life into a lifeless lump of clay, is also the One who beckons His children to develop a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him. Only when we take time to cultivate a close, in-depth, personal relationship with our Creator can we be able to spread the “good news” to others around us! A relationship such as this can only be developed through concentrated study and time spent in His Word. McFerrin offers regular Bible study opportunities for both men and women.

Christian Family Training (CFT)
Each Wednesday evening McFerrin offers bible study for all age groups. This training is similar to Vacation Bible School and Sunday School combined. Children, as well as adults, receive instruction from God’s Holy Word and are encouraged to apply it in their everyday lives. Children also enjoy crafts, music, and fellowship along with their classes.

L.I.F.T. Meetings
These meetings are for women who know the pain of living alone. Widowed, divorced, or whatever the case may be, these meetings are designed for gaining strength through God’s Word and encouragement through others who are experiencing similar pain. (Meetings held each 3rd Saturday at 9:00 AM)

Youth Group
Young people are extremely important to McFerrin Church. Paul reminds us in his writing how important it is to pray and exhort our fellow servants. He prayed specifically for spiritual wisdom for his brothers and sisters in Christ and asked “...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, give...the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge him” (Ephesians 1:17). Our young people meet each Wednesday and Sunday evening at 6:00 PM to participate in Bible study, fellowship, and Bible games specifically designed to develop greater knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. Classes: Preteen (Grades 4-6), Middle & High School

Congregational & Choir Music
Music is vital to our worship services. Through congregational as well as choir hymnals, God’s glory is magnified and hearts are lifted in praise to our Heavenly King. Truly, God’s name is glorified as the voices of His children ring out in unison to proclaim His goodness and love!

Mission Outreach
McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to spreading the Word of God. This is accomplished through many different efforts…….missions, missionaries, Christian publications, etc. McFerrin sponsors a mission in Jamaica and also in Arizona. We have also helped to sponsor many young churches during the early stages of their organization. Words of Hope Ministry is another mission we sponsor. Other Church Opportunities
McFerrin offers “Vacation Bible School” each year in June to provide children an opportunity to learn more in God’s Holy Word and experience the enjoyment of fellowship with their peers. It is an exciting week of study, crafts, food, and fellowship.

Church Library
In keeping with the belief that Christian education is of utmost importance, McFerrin has established a church library which offers children and adults alike opportunities to check out inspirational as well as instructional books. God holds us all responsible for every word, thought, and action. Therefore, in providing wholesome, Christian literature for our members, we can take joy in knowing we are truly building up His kingdom!
